In addition to all our amenities, the Maya Tabasco offers delicious typical dishes from the Kukulkan restaurant; as well as music enjoyment in our bars. For those business trips, we feature 10 rooms totally equipped with air conditioning and wireless high speed internet access, with capacities that go from 15 to 500 people; we also feature business services with audiovisual equipment such as: canyon, laptops, printer, and screen, sound system, wireless and wired microphones and laser pointer, among others.

We are located on Adolfo Ruiz Cortines Avenue, one of the main commercial zones in Villahermosa, 5 minutes away from the famous La Venta Museum Park and nearby other interesting places intended for tourism. This is the capital of Tabasco State, settled in the central part of the state (the name of the municipality is, actually: Centro). Our hotel features delicious seasoning at Kukulcan Restaurant, where you may delight your palate with an exquisite array of Typical Tabasco Dishes, as well as a menu of international specialties, that consists of Fish, Tamales and Broiled Chicken.

The restaurant is located in front of the Lobby with capacity for 125 guests. On Sundays, we feature Tabasco Buffet, where you may enjoy from the gastronomic touch of our chef at an agreeable family environment. We offer breakfast buffet and executive menu on a daily basis as well as a la Carte Service for further convenience.

“Frenessi” and “Las Selva” Bars
The Best Western Maya Tabasco features 2 bars. Enjoy delicious and refreshing drinks at Frenessi Bar, as well as all the liquors of your choice at a very comfortable environment. Villahermosa Activities:

Cocoa or Chocolate Route (Chocolate Hacienda, Archaeological Zone and Paraiso)

Tabasco is known for being the “Cocoa’s Capital”, this seed one day was made chocolate to change the face of the earth forever; we will start our tour by one of the Cocoa Haciendas, where you will learn about the true history of the popular chocolate. Afterwards, we will move onto an ancient Mayan city: Comacalco Archaeological Zone; the only one built off clay breaks by this famous culture, which by the way used to keep a close relation with Palenque city. And lastly, before heading back to the hotel, we will stop by Paraiso City to enjoy from the typical seafood of the region.

State Park (Agua Blanca, Ixta Ja Grottos, Kolem Jaa and Tapijulapa)

Agua Blanca is a natural protected area of 2,025 acres of generous flora and fauna. There are beautiful waterfalls that flow out of a cave heavily, the water falls over rocks and make up natural swimming pools in the bottom that result in refreshing swimming sessions, it is an ideal setting to experience flamboyant nature. Up hill, you may reach the Ixta-Ja Grottos (Agua Blanca), with caverns (level 1-3) of impressive size in which interior you can find lighted paths, perfect to practice speleism and rappel along with guided visits by the jungle.

Afterwards, we will visit the Kolem Jaa tourist development, which in Chol language means “The Greatness of Water”. This natural wonder accounts a magnificent group of waterfalls, a botanical garden and trails, as well as dining and comfortable services in comfortable cabins, to enjoy from regional food. The adventure and ecotourism activities performed here involve trekking, rafting, mountain biking, speleism, rappel, photographic safari, camping, Tyrolean crossing etc.
